Alexander Technique is a 100-year old practical approach to improving the functioning of your body and solving issues of pain, stress, tension, and discomfort.

Simple and effective the Alexander Technique is a way to decrease the excessive and unnecessary tension, rigidity, tightness, and/or compression in your body.


Alexander Technique is about self-observation and developing self-awareness, consciously participating in the learning process to discover and unlearn habitual patterns of tension, which may be the root of poor posture, fatigue, discomfort in standing and sitting, stress, aches and pain.

A “hands-on” approach, Alexander Technique teachers use his/her hands with a gentle, non-invasive touch, in addition to verbal direction to invite students back to natural coordination and poise, freer movement, good use and efficient functioning, physical well-being, and a more relaxed physical and mental state.

Alexander Technique is a technique that any one can learn at any stage of life. It requires no previous experience or particular background, just the desire to free oneself of old habits, to live more consciously, and to be open and receptive to new experiences.
